Guided by artist Su Yao, you’ll explore the beauty and symbolism of the plum blossom (梅花) — a flower that blooms in winter, representing quiet strength, purity, and renewal.

You’ll be introduced to the basics of brush technique, ink control, and the graceful, flowing style of traditional Chinese ink painting. More than a painting class, this session offers a calm, mindful space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect through expressive brushwork.

By the end of the workshop, you will create:

• Your own unique plum blossom ink painting on Xuan paper

• 1 plum blossom bookmark (time permitting)
